Justin Howard

Justin Howard is a fan of Manhattan, KS. Originally introduced to the town through his alter ego, Nordic Thunder, the high energy air guitar champion, his annual visits have grown a love for the small city. When learning about the Downtown art spaces, he offered up that he, too, was an artist. It only made sense to give him space to bring his work down from Chicago to have a show.

The collection of work that was shown in the Midtown Art Space was created entirely for and while thinking of Manhattan. Justin chose to work with a limited pallet of the three primary colors and white. Experimenting with layering techniques, alcohol, and making a massive mess while making something beautiful, he worked like a mad man and completed the works he displayed in a mere 6 months.
